What began as a fashion and poetry brand has grown into a full creative house that uses photography, videography, movement, and sound to explore what it truly means to be free, seen, and heard. 

My name is Kenyata Omar Swann – a multimedia artist, poet, educator, mental health advocate and founder of Suave Mentality Productions. Where I’m from, your voice is your superpower, your story is the blanket that keeps you warm through tough trials and your dreams keep you filled with joy and wonder. This company was born from lived experiences, artistic rebellion, and a desire to tell stories that are often overlooked – especially within the Black community. It seeks to debunk the myth that Black men have to “MAN UP”, suppress their emotions, brush off their fears, and show up as the “HERO” for everyone else. This company seeks to explore the depths of the male identity through storytelling and to expand the ideals of how “Manhood” looks, sounds, and feels.

Suave Mentality exists to amplify identity, mental health, and the beauty of authentic expression — especially for Black men and underserved voices.
